Amidst cultural influences, confusion arises—will it lead to a sense of belonging or a heartbreak? Claire Pei's low-budget debut film gained attention for its allegorical narrative and non-commercial vibe different from Taiwan's mainstream cinema. However, her directing career in Taiwan could't extend, despite her continued involvement in acting and screenwriting.
