Dróżnik na bombuj. An intimate film focused on a man and the small world around him. The protagonist is a lonely man working as a railroad crossing guard in a place where practically no one passes by and no trains stop. His only entertainment is playing the trumpet. However, one day the signalman is given a chance to change his rather monotonous life.
