Meine Mutter spielt verrückt na bombuj. The couple Antonia, or Toni, and the former star chef Rufus run the country inn "Kupferkanne" together. They keep getting into arguments about it. When Toni's mother wins a wellness vacation for two to the Baltic Sea in a competition, Toni decides to go along. Rufus is delighted, as it means he can finally work in peace on turning the "Kupferkanne" into a Michelin-starred restaurant. While on vacation, mother Heidi falls in love with Ivo, a former acquaintance of Rufus from his star chef days. She wants to start a new life with him and, to Toni's horror, is prepared to put her share of the "Kupferkanne" on the line.
