Schabbach ist überall na bombuj. Filmmaker Utz Kastenholz has accompanied Edgar Reitz during the filming of the third part of the legendary family chronicle "Heimat". The fictitious town of Schabbach, home to the TV family Simon, for many audience members has become a synonym for their own experience. "Schabbach ist überall" (Schabbach is everywhere) follows the origins and workings of the legendary film series and moreover addressess the question what "Heimat" really means today.
