Tова беше 1965, na bombuj. The filmmaker is on a search for her heritage and the story of her father’s escape. She is joined by her two friends, the cinematographer and the composer of the film, as they travel through Bulgaria. They examine places, texts, letters, documents and archival footage of her family from the past and present in Bulgaria and Germany. A memory-like dive between times and places, an ongoing conversation with a dead father.
