True Memoirs of an International Assassin na bombuj. Sam Larson (Kevin James) je spisovatel píšící vymyšlený příběh mezinárodního zabijáka. Pro inspiraci si chodí ke svému starému příteli, který dříve pracoval s tajnými agenty. Jelikož běžná nakladatelství knihu odmítají, nechá se Sam přesvědčit Kylií Applebaumovou (Kelen Coleman), aby ji vydal přes internet. Knihu ovšem Kylie vydá jako skutečné vzpomínky mezinárodního vraha. To má sice za následek, že kniha má obrovskou stahovanost, ale Sam je díky tomu unesen do Venezuely, kde má jako špičkový vrah řešit patřičné úkoly.
